With the Cards I assume nothing. Like I assumed we'd beat Tennessee when Kyler led us to 28 points before Demercado went Chad Powers, and I assumed we'd beat the Niners until Zay Jones forgot how to catch a ball right in his hands. Assuming anything with the Cards leads to pain

Didn't realize that the Cardinals scored 28 points against the titans.

What did Murray lead us to in the 4th quarter of that game? That 10 yards or so of offense he was responsible for in 15 minutes surely should have put us over the top.

Hell, what did he lead us to the entire second half?

After the gimmee 3rd touchdown (ball fumbled to us on the 27) in the second quarter with 40 minutes of game time left...

6 plays for -3 yards punt
3 plays for -8 yards punt
3 plays for 2 yards punt
13 plays 51 yards Murray fumble
3 plays 1 yard punt
5 plays 92 yards Demarcado fumble on a 72 yard run
3 plays 1 yard punt
6 plays 15 yards punt

A whopping 79 yards of offense if you disregard the demarcado rush in 40 minutes of game time...

This is the same thing Justin Fields fans say every time he fails. So much imaginary rushing upside, even though he can't throw even close to on time. There is no offense that can function with a QB that voluntarily sits down instead of stepping up, making the throw, and taking the hit.

Kyler turns pressures into sacks on plays where statues like Stafford and Flacco would have a 30 yard gain.

Kyler is by far the worst starting QB in the NFC West.

He would be QB3 in SF

I really dont get how this is not clear to everyone. Kyler has been here for 7 years, 7 years!! What do we think is going to change? He isnt improving, and jacoby has this offense MILES above what kyler did against far better competition. Pointing to 2 losses is dumber then the ‘rings’ debate in the NBA. The two teams they played are just better teams than the Cardinals and Jacoby was as close as can be to winning im both of them.

Parsons is special, but I don’t think he gets 3 sacks if Kyler was in there. He was able to pin his ears back against an immobile QB.

So what?

The ability to actually throw the ball on time and hit WR's far, far outweighs the ability to avoid a sack.

And while Kyler might have avoided some of the sacks that happened, there were sacks JB avoided by standing in the pocket and throwing the ball where Kyler would have foetaled himself into a sack. So swings and roundabouts.

Also, who’s to say Kyler wouldn’t have just curled up into the fetal position or done one of his odd “I’ll just hop and sit down like a six year old” take a sack moves… on any of those three sacks… or the other 9 pressures.

There were a few times in the first half where JB stood tall knowing a hit was coming and found a pass that I thought "Kyler would have curled up there". Those quick pressure up the middle rushes where he often just lies down.

I think Kyler still takes 6 sacks, just different sacks, and I'd rather have 6 sacks, 280 passing and 10 rushing then 6 sacks, 190 passing and 45 rushing.

The whole offense looks 10x better with JB at the helm. The WR's no longer look like they regret playing football.

I remember when people blamed K1 for blowing 4th quarter leads.

Ball in the hands of JB again at the end of the game and can’t score.
Oh no, the backup can't do it and the #1 overall pick can't do it either! I know which one to mock for it--the backup, of course hahahahahahaha

Damn dude, that wasn’t Kyler praise. That was more so the OL(especially Jonah) wouldn’t have gotten their ass kicked as much.

The OL has given up more pressures than I can remember in a 2-game stretch. Great job by Jacoby to still get the ball out sometimes, but the OL is a big worry with a new QB going forward.

Yeah it's been poor. Including Paris.

I thought it was decent but it turns out teams not over committing due to Kyler was hiding a lot of cracks.

Anyone pretending that the colts/packers are equal to the titans/second string niners/panthers/saints is in lala land. The only "good" opponent Kyler has faced this season is the seahawks. Jacoby who is not our QB of the future and a decent second string quarterback is way out performing Kyler right now- not even a question.

But it doesn't matter much anymore- short or a miracle we are in a full blown bad QB situation and the higher draft pick won't hurt.
But SF and Seattle likely are. Similar results

It’s funny all the people that somehow think Jacoby Brissett is this magically better player when reading through the threads all of the same complaints about Kyler show up about JB
