Set in 1970s Detroit, Motor City stars Alan Ritchson as John Miller, a man who falls in love with a local gangster’s girl. When the gangster frames Miller and sends him to prison, his life is ruined, and he soon sets out to get revenge against the man who took his girl from him. What will set Motor City apart from the action-revenge movies that have come before it will be the dialogue, as there will not be much of it. "The film itself, Motor City — we just wrapped — is virtually a silent film. There are five lines of dialogue," revealed Ritchson's co-star Ben Foster in September 2024. "Jack White is helping with the music, so it's like a rock disco revenge film. It's like a graphic novel, so it'll be interesting to see how that shakes out."
