PP was an incredibly talented player, arguably one of the most in team history. Beloved? Not even close to guys like A-Dub/Boldin/Fitz/Dock/Calais.

Peterson & Revis were pretty close. 8x Pro Bowl, 3x All Pro vs. 7x Pro Bowl, 4x All Pro. Both on the HOF All-2010s team. Stats are close, too (even tackles) - plus Peterson returned punts, while Revis had a relatively short career.

You can argue one is better than the other, but saying Peterson "couldn't sniff [Revis'] jock" is ignorant. Both will be in the HOF.

PP is marginally overrated but i believe it was close. Revis was a complete corner like Aeneas.

Peterson was massively overrated. He didn’t become a true shutdown corner until 2015 & that lasted only a few seasons at best. I don’t think anybody outside of Cardinal fans & LSU fans are taking Peterson over Revis.

Most Cardinals fans would take Revis too....PP21 is an cornholio..we talked about trading him off for years before he finally went.

He was an awesome talent, but a less than awesome QB. His arm and deep ball were amazing, though.
