I do not want that guy on this team, and it is stupid on so many levels because we don't need another scoring guard

There is a follow-up tweet from the same source saying the Suns would get a center in return in a multi-team trade.

How much trade value does Harden have?

Would this idea even be possible? We trade Ayton in a 3 team trade where we got back a center we like and Harden like what was suggested in the tweet. Then turn around and trade Harden for assets or other pieces.

I don't see Ayton playing next to Embid. That is why I said a third team. Assuming Ayton is the only piece we would trade.

Never gonna happen because nobody wants to pay a quitter $33 million dollars a year (including us) - especially with the new CBA BS - Ayton is untradable

This is the best explanation I have read why the Suns signing vet minimum type players to 2 year contracts has given them an edge over teams only offering a 1 year contract.

Phoenix used non-bird rights (120% off the vet exception) to sign Josh Okogie.

$2.815M and $2.956M (player option)

Okogie is the 5th free agent to sign for 2 years.

Why does that matter?

The signings have cost Phoenix an additional $11M toward the luxury tax.

It also has given the Suns an advantage over teams only offering 1 year.

For example:

When a player like Damion Lee signs for the veteran exception and 2 years, there is a $2.5M and $2.8M cap hit.

If Lee signed for one season, the cap hit is $2.1M.

The guard would still take home $2.5M but the NBA now reimburses Phoenix the difference.

The reimbursement is eliminated on a 2 year veteran exception contract.

Well, if Saul Bookman says it, then there's got to be something to it. I have it on good authority that "he knows a guy who knows a guy."

Please stop bombarding me with these ridiculous James Harden rumors. I shot this down on June 9th - said zero percent chance. I don’t know who/where these rumors are coming from /maybe stop following these people? No chance! Never was a chance. Suns never were interested!

I can see Harden in the sense that Dame Lillard is looking to go somewhere, Harden looking, too. We supposedly want to ship Ayton. So there's three players that could possibly help make a four or five way trade happen. It would have to be four or five at minimum because none of these three their teams would just swap guys. It would be so hard to do. But, like I said, you have two guys actively looking, and we could be a third leg in that scenario.

This same clown is also saying that we are going to get Paul George.

He thought we were going to sign Plumlee, he thought we'd sign John Wall, he "confirmed" that we would meet with Kyrie, and he vaguely said that there was one big free agent (but he couldn't say the name yet) that was going to sign with us.

He's an idiot.

Upon scrolling through his non-sense more I am going to take Gambo's advice and make it so I cannot even see his rubbish anymore.
