Whatever happened to Marquis Hayes? He looked really good at left guard in one pre-season game and then it was reported that he went on season ending injured reserve with a knee injury. I never heard another word about him and was wondering if he needed/had knee surgery.

I didn't necesarily hate the trade at the time as a potential upside player but never for a 5th. It was a 7th with a conditional 6th if extended at best. 5th was a massive over pay.

He’s still in Cardinals IR, by what I see online, not traded…unless I missed something.

I don't think Brit meant to say that Hayes was traded, only that we had to make a trade for Cody Ford since Hayes was on IR and not available.

Ya. I meant had they not needlessly put Hayes on IR there would have been no need to trade for Ford.

Marquis Hayes and Lecitus Smith are intriguing prospects -- but so far, thats all they are

my fear is Keim is thinking his interior OL problem is solved next year with those two
