Wow. I don't get this team sometimes. Has to be a locker room thing...

Cutting a guy at our weakest position is all that there needs to 'get.'
Is cutting the weakest link, though, at that position really a big deal? He's played like poop and really hasn't sniffed the grass lately. Maybe they are content with blowing up the playing time for Thomas (they should be).

Dogbe’s snap count in 2022 has also seen a drop from the beginning of the season.

After playing in a season-high 51% of defensive snaps (36) and in 56% on special teams (15) against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1, Dogbe has not seen 20% of the snap count on either defense or special teams in each of the last four weeks.

He is probably relieved to be cut he can maybe be resigned to a team that actually wants to succeed....

They may want to give some playing time to Trysten Hill, who they just picked up on waivers, or Johnathan Ledbetter, or even Manny Jones from practice squad. Obviously, Dogbe was a dog.

Is that in itself a crazy big deal, probably not. Is it indicative of a bigger problem, probably.
