I confess I have no idea how many times I could rep 225 back in the day. But I know I could do 20 reps with 300 and 3 reps at 550.

But my son...he is 30, he can do 225 26 times,... but he only weighs 210

Probably genetic. Once saw my baby brother get pissed off because his mother in law was nagging him....he went to her carport and snatched up a 302, duck walked about 15 feet, then shoved it up into the bed of his truck. He's a big dude,6'6" and about 340.... but a V8 with heads and manifolds is pretty damned impressive

i think the timing has as much to do with when Rookie mini camp is vs anything else

He does look way leaner and has bulked up a bit than he was last season. I recall he had some baby fat on his face back then.

He has the athleticism to be a good one, but need to improve to read plays and time of reaction, last year was often a bit late

Agreed, I also think he has to improve his ability to jack, redirect, mirror, and/or tag opposing WRs. I observe his normal playing style last season was giving up a big cushion, letting the opposing WR get the ball first then react rather than preventing the WRs to get the ball.
