It's not even close for me. Farley opted out so only 2 years of tape and only 2 years playing CB. Surtain has 3 years and went up against much stronger opposition. I'd take Surtain over Farley all day.

I'm sure the team would, also. Problem is that Farley might be there at #16, and Surtain probably won't be.

As I've said recently, outside Surtain I'm not a fan of any of the other round 1 CB's. They all seem like guys that might have high ceilings, but also have low floors. I'd rather take a shot with someone like Adebo in round 2.

i think if you trade down into the mid 20s or later, there are some CB prospects there: Tyson Campbell of Georgia for one. Asante Samuel of FSU -- late Rd 1, Rd 2.

Tyson is way too raw & I don’t like that with Vance coaching him. I like Asante, but even he’s shorter than Byron.

Greg Newsome II out of Northwestern is in the 2nd or 3rd round mix. Nice player. I like Asante but agree he does have some height limitations. Aggressive though.

I'm not really fussed about height.

If he was 6' everyone would be fine but 2" shorter and he's too short.

I’m praying for Caleb Farley at #16 then Greg in the 3rd. Doubt we’ll double down at CB, especially that early, but getting a shutdown CB then a very good CB2 would really transform the defense.
