But honestly, just like Harold Goodwin before him, BA has been promoting Byron Leftwich for HC just as hard. Byron calls the plays there I think and has been doing an "ok" job of it.

Personally though, I see no changes in that offense last night than the Carson palmer offense of 2015. Good, but wont win when it matters.

I doubt Brady doesn't have the permission to check into a different play at the line. If he felt he would have a good play by checking into a run he likely would have. There is also the possibility that he checked out of some run plays due to seeing something in the coverage.
