Not a huge surprise given his importance to the organization, but a source says that Diamondbacks top prospect Corbin Carroll will be on the taxi squad. Carroll hasn't played above Short Season A-ball but is one of the team's best young players.

Can confirm Corbin Carroll, as well as ⁦‪@JesseSanchezMLB‬⁩'s report that Geraldo Perdomo will be a part of the 60-player pool. Other prospects that will be included: Alek Thomas, Blake Walston, Dominic Fletcher, Tommy Henry.

None of those guys would probably qualify as being likely to play in the majors this season, but Carroll and Walston, as high-school guys in their first full season, might be the least likely.

Sorry, this tweet is incorrect, here is clarification re: Kristian Robinson, per a team spokesman: "Kristian isn't on the list because he can work out at Salt River Fields without being on the list based on the fact that he couldn't go home (to the Bahamas)" in the first place.
