The NBA trade deadline is February 7th. I thought it might be good to put any rumors involving the Suns in one place.

Personally I'm doubtful the Suns will make any major moves as it is so late in the season and there is the draft to consider.

I could see the Suns making a minor trade like they did last season by acquiring Elfrid Payton.

If a deal presents itself that makes sense. It could even be a major deal.

No trades this year.

What our FO will spew:

Let the core develop this year.
Reevaluate our situation and needs.

i.e. Tank mode and hope for Zion.

I became skeptical of the Suns making any moves to improve the team when they waived Rivers.

They could have theoretically used his contract to trade for a player like Faried.

I doubt we see any action on the suns part. Wouldn’t have thought so earlier in the year.

None of which help our void at starting Point Guard.

Depends on the price, but I'd be interested. He's one of the few perfect fits to this team in the league right now.

W/o Ariza, Chandler, or Rivers salary, we don't have the contracts to make a trade for Conley.

Memphis may be blowing it up. Would you trade for Mike Conley?

Conley is not going to do the Suns any good this season and he will be 32 to start next season.

Ryan Anderson is a negative asset as he has another year left on his contract for $21,264,637.

To make it work the Grizzlies would probably want Warren, Anderson and a first round pick to get their attention.

It's almost like the Suns didn't want to improve the team buying out Chandler and waiving Rivers.

Even in the Ariza trade the Suns preference was an injured Dillon Brooks before the Grizzlies said no.

Yeah. To be fair, Rivers could not have been included in a package deal prior to the deadline. It's doubtful he could've been dealt individually for anything helpful.

Zion played PG in high school so with a little luck we can fill our PF and PG slot with the same pick.
Why don't we just start Book, Ayton and Zion? A Center, a Forward and a Guard.

And have Igor fire all of the Assistant Coaches. And fire our GM. Wait, we already don't have a real GM.

Sarver would have to hire someone to count his extra money, though. Or he could add the chore to a teller at one of his San Diego banks.

Didn't the Suns used to be a basketball team? :)

Does he still have a major presence in San Diego banking? I thought that was when he was with Zion?

You're right. Following Zion, he is now President of Western Alliance Bancorporation, headquartered in Phoenix, with banking divisions in Arizona, California and Nevada.

OK, an in-state owner has ruined the Suns. :(

Rumor is MEM wants to attach Parsons to any deal for Conley or Gasol but Parson's is owed more money than Anderson with the same amount on time remaining on their deals.

How about the Suns trade Anderson (same years) and Warren plus Bucks pick for Conley.

Oops forgot about Parson.
