I always want the team to win. Period. I might as well stop being a fan if I come to a place in my life where I'd prefer them to lose.

We have some young players that I would much rather see instilled with a desire to win every game rather than be comfortable losing just because times are tough.

What don’t I get? I don’t want meaningless wins. I want long term sustained success. I want the franchise to maximize that goal.

How does a win do that?

You want to instill winning? Me too. Winning this game and losing a chance to get a franchise player does the opposite.

I don’t think you get that.
