Raiders are definitely losing on purpose...But so are the Giants.

Cards finish no better than the 3rd overall pick. Giants are fighting to go 1-15, same as the Raiders. We will beat the Raiders because they want us to.

Gruden is tanking and I'm guessing with the Raiders ownership's blessing. He has 3 first round picks next season with at worst a top 3, most likely, #1 pick to boot. The guy isn't stupid and spending 10 years in an ESPN booth didn't remove his football acumen. He also signed a 10 year contract so unless the Raiders are fond of shredding money just because, he isn't going anywhere.

49ers have lost 2 starting QB's and 2 RB's (+ Breida is still not 100%). Got to give them credit for continuing to fight and be competitive.

Gruden is no doubt burning the Raider house to the ground and starting over. He doesn't like the makeup of this team & never did. I'll be surprised if Carr is even his guy. He's vastly overrated & is soft upstairs. Give Gruden 3 years & this team will compete for a SB championship. But, it will be with a physically & mentally superior group. Even when they were 12-4 a few years back, they were not dominant, and they would always at least try to beat themselves.

I agree minus the tanking part. It’s hard to win over a locker room when you tell them to lose. I think his defense and o-line is just that bad. I wouldn’t be surprised if they trade their top 3 pick and load up even more and rebuild everything.

I believe he's tearing the team down to build it up in his image. This reminds me of the 2011 Colts. Gruden was given a 10 year contract so my guess is that Mark Davis is on board but I can't imagine he's on a long leash.

10 year contract is a LONG leash. It's pretty much unheard of in the NFL. And to get rid of him will cost so much money that the Raiders are basically stuck with him for 5+ years, if not longer. I'm glad that despite how stupid the Cardinals look right now, there is no way that they even compare to how stupid the Raiders are.
