Maybe late in the year they might overlook us.
But in week two, against a division foe? They'll have murder in their eyes on Sunday.

I believe that was the Rams plan. Get reps for players in meaningful games. They will be treating the first two games as their games to work out the kinks.McVay is really riding Gurley. Game was over and he’s still getting touches. Granted he didn’t play a snap in preseason.

Averages to 100 catches, 1152 yards, and 10 TDs per 16 games... a bit higher than Fitz' career average on all stats. It's not bad, but I wouldn't consider that a great stat line for Larry... 72 yards/game, .65 TD/game

I had a conference last Sunday so dvred game. I just realized I haven’t watched it. And have no desire to watch it. I have to fly cross country this Sunday for work. Originally I was so pissed i was going to miss first two weeks of football. Now I find I don’t care. That level of apathy for the cards is alarming for me (and should be for the cards).
Yes. The fact that many here are talking draft this early is really, really concerning. Even under Dave McGinnis, we were excited for the development of young prospects or surprising people at least until October.
If this is a lost season, it's really going to be rough on Patrick Peterson, David Johnson, and Fitz. If David Johnson can't get untracked and ends up with 800/500 or something, it's gonna be a disaster.
Here's another fun thing: Patrick Peterson has just two years left on his contract after this one. The Cards could save $10M on the cap and incur just $1.2M in dead money if they cut him next year.
Can you imagine?
you gotta hope that Rosen flashes late in the year and that there could be one of those year 2 bumps that Philly/LA/Indy with Peyton back in the day.
Another indicator that we're in trouble... I've NEVER missed an opportunity to go see us on the road when given the chance and it's week 2 and I have no desire to go to the game which is only 7 miles away from me. Sure, I'm in a position where money's tight, but I could have afforded to eat the value menu at McDonald's or eat Ramen all week if I was really jazzed about the team.
I just can't get there with a QB I've ALWAYS believed is nothing more than a journeyman/loser combined with an OC I have zero faith in. That sucks.
As I said, I'll be at the game. FWIW, I think that David Johnson is worth the price of admission, and being able to key on Patrick Peterson and Chandler Jones. Also, if you have a chance to catch Fitz before he retires, this might be it.
I think that it'll be more fun to see a game in StubHub, anyway. Great reason to leave home after Thanksgiving.
this is welcomed news.
