Here's my expert insight:

both are garbage.

WR is a priority in free agency and draft.

Agreed...Can't have receivers with that many drops....Can't get rid of them fast enough and I was a big defender of Floyd...No longer

I've been a big Floyd fan too. I don't know what's wrong with him, or the team for that matter, this year.

JJ Nelson is a fraud. 1 tool - speed. Can't do anything else. Can't even play STs. brittan golden deserves all of Nelsons snaps for the rest of the year

Bad thing is, other than Mike Williams from Clemson, there's not a lot of 1st round, #1WR talent in this draft.

They really can't afford to find WEST in the draft because they have so many other needs . WRs need to come from FA.

The issue with the Browns this year, one knee injury one sickle cell trait just tore apart our WR's to where we needed guys to step up. Floyd and Nelson just didn't do it. Nelson not a total shock he's clearly not a starter, Floyd on the other hand just a complete letdown year. Lost himself millions of dollars, I doubt the coaches would take him back even at a bargain now he's been so bad and given so little effort

Totally disagree.

In case you haven't ever seen or heard of Corey Davis from Western Michigan I suggest getting to know him.

I'd luv for Big Red to draft this kid, he's gonna be a star.

Agreed. Bring back Shipley too. The kid for Atlanta, Gabriel showed everything we wished John Brown showed flashes of his rookie campaign as well. Brown has dropped off this year as well. But some of that is attributable to Palmers lack of time in the pocket.

The problem I have with Smokey & JJ is I don't think they're starters, more like role players. If BA & Keim think they're anything more they're making a huge mistake IMO.

Screw Floyd he sealed his fate on this team & should've been traded for a stick of gum during the season considering his production & snaps each game

I have said it before I'm not sure Smokey will be playing in the NFL next year. I think he's a guy who's reconsidering his career right now with the issues he's had this year. He's just not the same guy he's not as fast and he's playing like a guy who is avoiding contact, he wasn't that guy before this year. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he retires after this season.

Nelson is just not a starter, hes' a 5th Wr at best I think. The problem we had is with Floyd's vanishing act, and both Browns being hurt we wound up with just 1 reliable WR in Fitz.

Michael Floyd has a least one explicable back breaking drop every week. Total mission failure for this season. It will almost be more obnoxious if he comes around at this point, because the season is over.

Bucky is right about Davis. I used to work that conference and a guy named Golladay from NIU is worth a round 5 pick and could surprise. Of course if he goes to an all-star game he could move up. I'm hoping they miss him there and at the combine. There's also Smith-Schuster at USC who goes round 1. Ross at Washington looks like a nice player as well. He should last until the Cards' second pick. I'll give you some others to check out as the Bowl games come up.

I'll add Dede Westbrook of OU. Another smaller guy, but blazing fast with wiggle, short area quickness ,etc.

I'm of the opinion at this time that we shouldn't spend a high draft pick on WR. Fix the Oline and keep improving the D are more important. Now a 4th rd pick or later on a WR who is a legit PRer is very important.

It's not the drops. They're not gaining separation and are being covered much more tightly than our DB's cover their guys.

I'm not sure about the kid from western Michigan because I haven't seen him , but out of everyone else talked about, Williams is the only legit guy with #1 potential.. Small, quick guys aren't #1s.

The WMU kid is 6'4 and just set NCAA Division 1 record for career receiving yards.

6'3" I believe.

Runs great routes, great hands & faster than his 40 time. I've had my eyes on this kid since last year when I watched him a few games

The Patriot Way. Crazy that Belichick has never drafted a WR in the first round.
