I use Access to get the sports games for free. I don't mind waiting 8 or 9 months after they come out to play them. $30 a year for all of the EA sports games beats buying even 1 sports game a year by far. Especially as their value goes down very quickly.

Yeah, I pay this and then don't buy any EA games. Eventually they will be free and I don't care about playing them right away

It just keeps telling me that I have to subscribe for EA access. Maybe it's because I did a free trial back in January?

It just went live today, so I would wait a few more hours.

There are a few complaints on the EA Access forums already about the Free Play days not working. I just don't know if it's my system or if it's not working for anyone.

I'm frustrated because I stayed up until about 2am last night to try to start a game download (because it takes a long time over wifi) with no luck & have been trying since I woke up this morning. I've reset the cache on my One, uninstalled & re-installed the EA Access app & updated my EA Access account info & verified my email address, but nothing has made a difference. I've spent way more time on this than I should have to for something "free"... the 2-3 hours of my time is worth a hell of a lot more than the $30 yearly subscription cost.

If it is coinciding with the E3 EA Play Event then it might not go live until 4pm PT because that's when that event is scheduled.

If that is the case, I wish they would've clearly specified that & not had the Xbox main screen advertising it like it was already live.

Edit: Free Play Days are live now. For me at least. Sorry for sounding like a whiny little b*tch! haha

Apparently EA had to fix something with my account to get it working. It sounds like the people who updated to preview the new summer patch aren't able to get the free play days either.

I'm glad I posted on their support forums.
