Bolded---the FA players I'd like to see the Cardinals re-sign at fair market value, which SK is adept at assessing.

I agree with you Mitch, don't know if Freeney wants to play another year, but he can be signed close ot the beginning of the season. I don't have Chris Johnson on here, so I must have missed something - I would want him for another year as well. A lot of our offense have contracts that run out after next year, so I would go with continuity on the FA side.

looking at this roster one thing that stands out is the lack of depth at Tackle. Presently there are only 2 tackles on the roster. Massie will probably get signed by some other team for more money than he is worth. Sowell never should have been on the roster at all. Expect to see FA signing for this position.

Don't like Jerraud Powers. IMO he was worse than Bethel when he started at CB.
Cards really need a better CB to pair with Peterson.

Mitch I too would like to see Gresham resigned but I don't think it will happen. With 4 other TEs on the roster, I don't see them bringing Gresham back.

I agree, but I would like to keep him as the slot CB3 (where his strength lies), and draft a CB2. Once Honey Badger is full speed, Powers snap count would drop. That would also keep Bethel at CB4/ST ace, because he needs a lot of work.

Question: Where was Niklas the last 3rd of the season?

Snap count wise - his snaps went to Gresham, though his ST snaps increased. Fells played more and more snaps every week over both of them.

Yes, b8rt, add RB Chris Johnson to this list.

Cardpa---other than Darren Fells, none of the TEs remaining on the roster are proven. Each has potential. Gresham could have a big year, given another chance to be a factor.

Az jam---Powers thrives in the slot. We need him, especially if we want to move Honey Badger around.

I agree with you but I don't think it will be viewed that way by the team. I think the only way Gresham comes back is to agree to a very friendly cap contract.

He played CB opposite Peterson when HB started. He was constantly burned. His salary was $5.3 million. No way was he worth that!!

Not sure how I can agree with that. Bethel was damn awful.

On Doug & Wolf yesterday, one of them mentioned Troy Nicked-glass potentially being the new long snapper. That would give us some roster flexibility not having a guy that only snaps the ball. Is he any good at it is another story altogether. Better have a backup!

This is a terrible idea. I don't want the LS playing other positions and other plays in the game, especially an injury prone guy. What happens when he gets hurts in the first quarter?

Niklas gets roasted by the peanut gallery although he played all 16 games while improving somewhat. yet The #1 pick isn`t even active and I see no animosity toward him.As for bringing Gresham back ..........why? Niklas is improving,Gerald Christian will be a good player and a fan favorite ,Fells is fells. As for Momah.i think Christian beats him out.

Niklas is still only 23 years old and 2015 was his 4th season playing TE.He only played TE at ND 2 years..So is still learning and growing into the role.Giving up on him could be a mistake .

I agree on both counts.
