A month ago, we had reports of Dwash applying for reinstatement "soon" and then nothing. I know he met with Goddell, completed his classes, so what's the hold up? Or is there a date he can't return until?

May 30th is his one year mark, all of the local reporters keep mentioning that when people ask and saying nothing else is known yet. That seems to be the date we learn about reinstatement, not sure about further punshment.

May 30th would be a one-year, nothing will happen until IF or When he gets reinstated. Mike Jurecki added,

This whole reinstatement topic with Washington feels odd. No one has made a public statement (that I've seen), confirming he has actually filed. Seems like someone should know that he has applied and the league will respond by X date.

He applied for it, there isnt much else to talk about until he is reinstated. The team is ignoring him until he is reinstated on purpose.

You're probably right, but other individuals have been pretty vocal about applying for reinstatement. Nobody knows that he has even applied.

Are the cardinals even interested in having him back on the team?

His talent screams yes they want him back. His actions have them not counting on him at all.

Everyone screws up at some point and Dwashout has done that a couple to three times but hopefully he is now squared away.

They didn't draft like they don't want him back.

I can tell you that for him to have already had his probation terminated and his offense designated as a misdemeanor, he had to go above and beyond just "complying" with his terms of probation. This is the fastest I have personally ever seen all of that get done on a felony case. And Maricopa County doesn't screw with DV cases even for celebrities.

Will Brady's suspension have any impact on DW? Might be wishful thinking on my part, but the NFL might go easier on DW, to show that they are not anti-player. Expect/hope for a two game suspension, and if it's more then expect an appeal, with a reduction back to two games. And yes I'm a koolaid guy.

As soon as he's reinstated we're going to trade him for Adrian Peterson. You heard it here first. ;)

The advantage of having all this time pass is that it has given him time to get clean and sober and do all the anger management, etc. The NFL can point to that in assessing.

I'm still hearing 6 games, but might go down to 4 after an appeal and conference with RG. No question that the Cards expect him back.
