He's still better than Ryan Lindley.

Tim Tebow to sign with Philadelphia Eagles

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap30...-sign-with-eagles?campaign=Facebook_atn_patra

Tim Tebow's workout with the Philadelphia Eagles last month will lead to another chance for the quarterback.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday that the Eagles are planning to bring in Tebow on Monday and sign him to a one-year deal as they begin their offseason program. FOX Sports' Jay Glazer first reported the news.

Tebow will join an Eagles' quarterback room that includes Sam Bradford, Mark Sanchez, Matt Barkley and G.J. Kinne.

Coach Chip Kelly told NFL Media's Steve Wyche last month that he's "always been a fan of Tim." Now the coach will get a longer, closer look at the quarterback.

GJ Kinnie is 10X's the QB Teblow is passing the ball. Why teams keep signing him is laughable.

I don't understand what people have against him. He might end up going nowhere again and fade. However, I think it would be awesome for him to prove everybody wrong. Not because I am a Tim fan but because I love it when people rise above it.

I think this is a brilliant move by Chip Kelly. With the extra point being moved to the 1 yard line and with Kelly's penchant for going for the two points, having Tebow as an option in the shotgun is a real asset.

I don't think people hate Tebow the guy, I think they hate the idea of Tebow possibly being the QB for their team. Tebow at QB is a disaster waiting to happen. Tebow might be one step above Lindley which isn't saying much. He got lucky in one playoff game and now some people think he can lead a team to the playoffs over an entire season. What people tend to forget is the year he played in Denver they had a pretty darn good running game which they leaned on so Tebow wouldn't have to throw the pigskin anymore than necessary.

They hold the fact that he wears his faith on his sleeve against him. Nothing more, nothing less. Some will say his play is the reason but with the collection of stiffs still employed in the NFL, I always thought it a head scratcher why no one will even give him a look.

I'm not buying that for a second. You mean the way peeps hate on Warner? Not many, if any. If anything, most of Tebows fans are Christians.

YEah its that rather than his complete inability to play the QB position successfully.

Yep! It doesn't take but watching 2-3 series to see he can't QB an NFL team

I agree that some hold that against him, but I believe far more just think he is a crappy QB, period.

The amount of fans that hate Warner for his faith, are far less than the opposite. I think we both agree with that.

Except that he shown that he can to an extent. He led Denver to a playoff win. He won quite a few games with his 4Q heroics, including the playoff game. Yes, he had to fix his mistakes for his bad first 3Q's but he shown he has 'something.'

He may be a good guy but stinks as a QB. That is the only reason he is not playing. It has nothing to do with his faith.
