I think Kobe is done. Don't get me wrong- he'll play again, but he'll never be the same. He is what, 34 year old, has 17 seasons under his belt, and he won't be able to do any conditioning for 3-6 months, and he won't be ready to play for 6-9 months. If you want to see what he will look like when he comes back, watch a Dallas game and focus on Dirk.

I wonder if Nash will retire and Dwight leave to play in Houston.

I'm with Phrazbit. Dudes a horror show of a human being, who's cried wolf on too many injuries in the past (and probably is again) who was going to get into the playoffs solely because the league was forcing them into it. Dude gets whatever he deserves.

Looks as though this will come down to the day of the season with a lot of scenarios that can impact whether the Suns get an extra lottery pick. The current best case scenario would be for the Grizz beat the Clips this Sunday(game is in Memphis) and then beat the Mavs the following night so they would have already clinched HCA over the Clippers in RD 1 going into the final game of the season against the Jazz. Meanwhile if the Rockets finish off the Kings and Suns in their next 2 games they could be fighting for the 6th seed when they meet up with the Lakers on the final day.

Like I said, I hate Kobe. I think he's one of the most annoying and one of the cockiest players to ever play sports. I don't think he wins his rings without Shaq and Gasol.

D'Antoni is going to get burned for this, much like Shannahan got for leaving RGIII out on the tattered field with a shredded knee. Pringles played Kobe over 45 min/game this month and I think he got 1 minute of rest on their most recent back-to-back. Literally wore him to the ground.

Kobe for 48 minutes a night, already ground Nash into dust, Metta World War is magically playing on knee that was surgically repaired like 10 days ago. Those 7 man rotations... they were bad news in the playoffs with 2-3 days rest between each game, playing this style for a few months with back to backs involved? A reeeeal shock to see it blow up in his face.
