OT- Texans help give Marine widow and son a new home

Really cool. Apparently the story goes the Marine was a huge Texans fan who was killed in Iraq by an IED. I guess he was buried in his military uniform with a Texans jersey on top. The Texans brought her and her son to the game with the expectations that they get to honor her husband and her son gets a new bike. In addition to those they gave her a mortgage free home plus electricity for a year. Always love seeing these types of stories and wish we heard about more of these.

Whoooooot for the Texans. Great story, and one that I would endorse for any franchise that has made decent money recently. I don't believe that there is any way we can give too much respect to those who served, (especially those who gave their last full measure of devotion). One of the Texan's owners is a very close family friend. He was a career army guy who made it big after getting out of the service. This story doesn't surprise me at all.
