I don't necessarily agree here. Teams can and will trade, and it's nice to see some takes on that as long as they're done intelligently. Predicting that the Colts trade Peyton Manning and their first pick to the Panthers so they can draft Fairley just isn't going to happen, but the 49ers giving up a 3rd round pick to move up to #4 is the kind of trade that Mock Drafters should include in their prognostications.

I agree they want happen. It is not stupid. This is a board for fun and not so much for facts so let the guys do what makes them happy as we all post things that will never happen. Even the Guru of Gurus (Mel Kiper) sometimes makes predictions on who will trade up or down and sometimes he is correct. As the old 60's saying goes "If it feels good then do it".

It is just as hard to predict trades as it to predict our draft selection at #5; therefore, I see no problem in it. In fact, I hope we trade out. I want to see commentary on it.
