HERE ARE THE DETAILS:

Place: Gordon Biersch at Westgate

Time: 6:30 on (told them we'd likely be there for three hours or so, with people coming and going)

Deal: We have a spot reserved for 25 to 30 people. They'd like me to get them a better number, so please let me know if you plan to attend and what time you might be showing up.

The reservation is under ASFN.

Also, they have agreed to do separate checks, but because we are under one reservation, an 18% gratuity will be added to each bill.

Hope this works for you guys. I called many places at Westgate and GB was the only one that would accomodate us (though all the other places were super nice, so please feel free to stop in and see them on Sunday or some other time).

can anyone suggest a hotel near the stadium/tailgate/where you guys are going out for a drink/ near anything interesting to do?

i am looking on expedia and there are a couple of really good deals on there if i book with my flights, which might save me having to land on the doorstep of one of the members. (quite a few offers by the way - which i might still have to take up....fantastic thanks).

I am not sure what is available, but hotels near the stadium are Marriott Rennaisance (pricey), Staybridge Suites, Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn. All are walking distance to stadium and Westgate (entertainment area).

YardHouse was taking reservations of 10 or more around New Years, not sure if they still are. In fact, there is an almost private room in the back corner that seats probably 30 or so that would be a good place to meet.
