Where do you work? You can't have a job. You spend all day every day here online. When do you sleep? Why are you invisible? Don't want people to see that you're online ALL the time? Where do you work? I bet you don't even have a job. You may SAY you have a job. But you don't. You collect welfare I bet. Do you have a job? Then why are you here so much? What kind of job is it? Internet trafficking? Where do you work? Oh wait, I think I said that already. I had to repeat it in case your mushroom cloud missed it. Here it is again. WORK? WHAT DO YOU DO? WHERE?

I pound on tin sheds in the Tenn hills to shake out the few teeth they have in their mouths.. You do know that hillibies are becoming extint.. Im more or less an ivory hunter.. Yall are fat dumb and can be shot easy..

Gee works, he works near my old job. Why that has any bearing on anything football is beyond me.

Can you guys take your pussyfest elsewhere?

I'd bet dollars to ************* that Gee would whip your ass if you wanted to take this internet slapfight into the real world, so how about we do that and you leave the rest of us to discussing the results of the Cardinals game?

Thanks in frigging advance.

He's dumb, but he ain't THAT stupid to give me his address..

We went round and round before.. You even claimed to cruise by my old house.. Why didnt you stop then? Nothing happened.. All you do is invite folks to your new hang out.. then 1 month later, after the locals get tired of you, you move to a new place.. You proceed to tell your friends why you have no more PHX friends and then when they figure you out, they think your a bunch of BS..

One day.. One day.. I hope to look in your eyes..

Let me ask you this Rob?

How does it feel to have your ex wife, the woman you pledged your life to, abandon you for a man who prays to Allah and teaches your sibblings to do the same?

Oh; That has got to hurt!

BTW?

How are the in laws?

Mitch, love ya and respect the hell outta ya, but I gotta disagree on some of what I saw. I do acknowledge your superior background, so correct me where I've made the wrong assumptions.
Thanks to a surprisingly efficient Charter I was able to DVR the game (in HD no less).
I watched the offensive line closely and in slow-mo a lot so I feel pretty confident in what I've noticed.

You did a great job SuperSpck! Real good breakdown of the tape, thanks!

Every time I see Levi Brown on the field, I think of the RB we could have had. I still not sold on #75.

He whiffed on the one sack but on the very next play he made a great play let the DE run wide and then basically pushed him 15 yards behind Matt who stepped up and hit a first down pass IIRC.

I stil obviously wish we'd taken Peterson but I do think Brown can play.

Overall, I think I was genuinely disappointed in the effort. It looked eerily like last year’s sloppy manifestation. I realize it’s a preseason game and all, but after all of the quotes of us being ahead of last year, less mistakes being made… and how they are more comfortable with the system… la-ti-da… Well, I didn’t see it translate anywhere near like Whis hoped it would when mugging for the camera a week ago.

It’s early, so I’ll give them that. But I gotta say, other than Hightower’s quickness, it was a downer for the most part... and I’m an optimist at heart.

In Alphabetical order: Those Who Were Solid (Made Plays, e.g.)

RB Baylark-good run

DE Berry-almost got to Brees on TEX stunt on the TD pass

WR Breaston-best reception of the night

DE Campbell-active player

DE Dockett-made presence felt but did not pressure very well

T Gandy-solid performance (Levi played well too except giving up the sack)

LB Haggans-couple of nice tackles

LB Harrington-same

LB Hayes-best tackler

LB Highsmith-instinctive, around the ball

RB Hightower-great TD and runs...missed a block in protection

LS Hodel-good as always, made nice tackle in punt coverage

LB Holloway-made a couple of nice plays in the goal-line

DE Iwebema-best sack of the night

RB James-good run on sweep left

P Johnson-good distance on most punts--needs more hang time

S Keyes-this kid's a hitter, as advertised

QB Leinart-poised and accurate

G Lutui-solid performance

LB Okeafor-good pressure

TE Patrick-nice catch up the seam

K Rackers-good touchbacks and kicks

WR Rector-nice catch on first series

CB Rodgers-Cromartie-good hit on the TE

C Sendlein-steady

FB Smith-nice catch and run to set up 1st TD

WR Urban-good catches

RT Vallejo-set up was solid---needs to finish off his blocks

G Wells-steady

S Wilson-good red dog blitz to stone a running play early
_________________________________________________________

Those Who Struggled

CB Adams-weak tackle on long TD

RB Arrington-dropped screen--ran hard on one off tackle play, though

CB Bain-looked tentative

DT Branch-didn't do anything to stand out versus 2nd stringers

T Butler-needs to get his timing down-was getting beat on the edge

S Celestin-bad penalty, sloppy coverage

LB Dansby-looked slow, was ineffective

S Francisco-was right there on all the deep passes but needs to locate the ball in order to break the passes up

CB Hood-looked disinterested--did not hustle--yes, bad foot, but don't play

QB Morelli-was pressured pretty well

DE Smith-jumped off-sides, missed tackle on Bush

LB Stewart-had a chance to step up on goal-line and didn't

QB St. Pierre-started strong, finished weak

S Ware-a step slow on a couple of plays

___________________________________________________________

Please comment on anyone missing here. Thanks.

Fitz for pushing our runner for a first down. He was right in the middle of the pack pushing our runner for an extra 4 yds or so on a run. I am not used to seen an all pro wideout getting in there with the big boys doing that. That was an attention getter.

- Matty still has issues... If we want our QB to toss 5-7 yarders all game, he's our man. Otherwise, he showed zilcho tonight to make me feel any different than I did last season about him...

It may have looked Matt took checkdowns and just dumped the ball off all night but his yards per attempt was a mind blowing 11.4. The key is getting the ball in the hands of your playmakers so that they can make plays and you don't always have to throw the ball 20 yards down field to get that done.

For comparisons sake: Brees' YPA was 5.7, Brunell's was 9.9. Brady led the league in YPA last season with 8.3.

YAWN!!!! Dude, don't one-trick this anti-matt thing. He improved his footwork, his presence and his view of the field. He didn't toss a 7 yarder to Rector or whomever down the sideline...he was very good tonight in two series, leading us to a TD in his second go. Nothing wrong with that.

Whatever... none of us are able to predict the future performance of any players (except JJ of course!! ;)).

As far as I'm concerned, I continue to see more that scares me vs more that excites me about Matty...

Time will tell...

You do realize his longest reception was a 5 yard dump-off to Breaston who turned it into a 35-40 yard gain, right?
Nice read by Matt - he made the proper throw and allowed his man to make a play.
But please don't toss out an 11.4 yard per attempt average as if Matt were throwing the ball downfield (or even longer than 5 yards), because he wasn't...

Who threw the 23 yard completion to Rector on the first drive of the game then?

82CardsGrad, wasn't that the point that CGolden made? Eleven yards is eleven yards, whether it's running after the catch or not.

Until you can come up with a better stat, this is still apples to apples and he had a damned good yard-per-att average.

If he ends the season with that number (I say that knowing full well he won't) and it's all short stuff that turns into long stuff (ie Wes Welker and Tom Brady...you think that takes away from Brady's accomplishment?) would you still bash him for not looking downfield?

Seems like a catch-22 to me. If he takes what the defense gives him (and btw, moves the team down the field for a TD), he can't win because he's not throwing downfield. If he throws it downfield despite coverage he's a lot more likely to throw picks and incompletes, and then he's a crappy QB.

I'll take door #1, thanks.

Hey RM. Whats R.O.W. 147 days mean?

Revenge on the Walrus.

I was pretty P.O.'d after the game at Seattle next year, and the usual band of Seahawks fans were all about how good they are.

I just know that a year from that day we would be ahead of them in the standings and the tables would be turned.

I have to update my countdown tho. I is is closer than 147 days.

Oh, And the walrus would be Mike Holmgren.
