Getting rid of Warner would be beyond stupid, which is why we wont do it. Ask questions like this once Matt has shown that he is a capable starter AND that his body can last a full season.

We are very lucky to have Warner. We need to keep him until Matt is a proven starter, can stay healthy and we can find another quality backup QB. If you look at the quality of other starting QB in the NFL you would see how lucky we are to have Warner as a backup.

Worth every penny, UNLESS he wants to start and a suitable replacement can be found. The thing is backup QBs are tough to come by. And as frustrating as he is, Kurt is one of the better backup QBs.

Well, I would say being the 10th rated QB in the entire NFL makes him much more than one of the "best backups"!!

I'm a relative newbie when it comes to the Cards but would it really stop the QB discussions? Plummer, McCown, Warner, Leinart and I'm sure more that I'm unaware of. One might have argued that until one of them puts up really good numbers it won't end. But one did and it hasn't.

Get rid of all of the QB's and direct snap to Anquan Boldin.

If he is making about 4 mil I would say maybe 1 million in cap savings. But that is a complete guess.

can you guys please take you argument somewhere else. I posted this thread so fans could debate if they believe Warner is worth keeping on the roster after they know they numbers since I believe that is a big piece in making a decision on keeping a player or parting ways
