The Niners have a good young team but the Seahawks are more of the same style and better. The Niner TE Davis in reality has shown so far in his young career as much potential as Stevens of the Seahawks...Stevens can do just as much damage and deserves just as much respect as Davis. Gore is a young star on the rise but Alexander is a star no matter how much people at times like to underrate this talented back. I'm not a big fan of Alex Smith and he might have a future but Hasselbak will know what to do with the ball if pressured and one would have to say by far the better QB at the moment. In a way, I think these two teams are very much a like but the Seahawks are proven with some experience. It will be interesting to see if our 'D' plays a similar strategy against them and if it will be as successful.

That's good advice to remember when you play the Buccaneers. As for tomorrow, you might want to focus more on Marcus Pollard, who's not as tall as our former TE but has MUCH better hands.

You're probably right about Vernon Davis having as much potential as Stevens at the same point in his career. I just hope for Davis and the 49ers sake, he doesn't decide to throw away his talent and career with alcohol and other brushes with the law.

Stupid @ss got picked up in Arizona for DWI about a week or so after the Seahawks allowed him to become an unrestricted free agent! If that's not bad enough, he had a bag of weed in his back pocket.

Pro Athletes live for the day the become an UFA so they can cash in on the big payday, and this idiot is driving himself around AZ with a belly full of Margaritas!

Waste of talent is an understatement.
