Youth League, Köln vs Inter LIVE on Inter TV
Almost two months after the end of the league phase, the UEFA Youth League – Europe’s greatest youth competition – returns. Inter U20s, coached by Benito Carbone, rounded off the first phase of their campaign with an emphatic 5–0 win over Liverpool, a result that saw the young Nerazzurri finish the league phase on 11 points in 14th place, securing qualification for the Round of 32.
The top 22 teams in the standings progressed to the knockout stage: clubs ranked from first to sixth were paired with those finishing between 17th and 22nd, while teams placed from seventh to 16th were drawn against the ten sides that qualified via the domestic champions path. Under this system, Inter were drawn against Köln, the reigning Germany U19 champions.
The Round of 32 will be played as a single-elimination fixture: any match level after 90 minutes will go straight to a penalty shoot-out to decide the winner. Seeded teams for the draw included those finishing between first and sixth in the Champions League path, along with the ten sides from the domestic champions path. As a result, Inter will face Köln away from home.
The match will be played at the Stadion Köln, the main stadium in the German city and home of the Bundesliga first team. Kick off is scheduled for 18:00 CET on Wednesday 4 February.
The fixture between Köln and Inter will be broadcast live via streaming on inter.it, the official Inter app, and Inter TV.

IL MOMENTO DELLA PRIMAVERA
L'Inter Primavera arriva al match dopo la vittoria in campionato per 2-1 contro la Cremonese. I nerazzurri sono tornati al successo dopo tre partite: il 2026 non è iniziato al meglio per i ragazzi di Benny Carbone, che da gennaio in avanti hanno collezionato due vittorie, un pareggio e tre sconfitte in campionato, più un successo ai rigori contro la Sampdoria negli ottavi della Coppa Italia. Nel campionato Primavera l'Inter occupa la quarta posizione con 37 punti, tre in meno della Roma capolista; nel mezzo ci sono Parma e Fiorentina a quota 39.
L'AVVERSARIO | COLONIA
Il Colonia ha già stabilito alcuni record in questa edizione della Youth League: la squadra tedesca è arrivata ai sedicesimi per la prima volta nella sua storia, fase raggiunta dopo aver superato il percorso campioni nazionali eliminando Racing Union Luxembourg e i danesi del Midtjylland. Questi ultimi avevano superato il percorso campioni nazionali sette volte, un record, e non erano mai stati eliminati in questa fase prima di questa stagione. Il Colonia invece non aveva mai superato un turno di Youth League nella sua storia. In Europa i tedeschi hanno ottenuto tre vittorie e un pareggio finora: successi per 0-3 e 2-1 contro i lussemburghesi del Racing Union, 1-1 nell'andata a Colonia contro il Midtjylland e netta vittoria per 1-4 in Danimarca, che ha portato la squadra tedesca ai sedicesimi. Il bomber della squadra è senza dubbio Fynn Schenten, attaccante classe 2007 autore di 5 reti in 4 partite giocate. L'allenatore è Stefan Ruthenbeck, in panchina dal 2018: in precedenza nella stagione 2017/18 ha allenato anche la Prima Squadra del Colonia per 22 partite tra Bundesliga, Europa League e Coppa di Germania.
