Kordell Stewart

Bears Cardinals Ravens

Mar. 7 - The Bears are said to be preparing their offer to Stewart, who met with team officials Wednesday and Thursday. But Baltimore's Jeff Blake was in Chicago on Thursday, and the Bears might be re-considering their negotiating strategy. Stewart already has an offer on the table from the Cardinals, but he indicated during his time in Chicago that he'd prefer to sign with the Bears. Now that Blake's talks in Baltimore have ended, however, the Ravens could invite Stewart to visit, as well.

Jeff Blake

Bears Steelers Cardinals

Mar. 7 - Blake hoped to prod the Ravens into a better contract offer by making appointments with other teams. Instead, the Ravens pulled their last offer off the table, indicating -- for the moment, anyway -- that they're no longer interested in bringing him back. Coach Brian Billick told the Washington Post, "We're done," and said there was no chance talks would resume. Blake met with the Bears on Thursday, and the Steelers and Cardinals could be in the mix, as well.

Roosevelt Colvin

Giants Jaguars Lions Cardinals Patriots Bills

Mar. 7 - Colvin's national tour continues today in Jacksonville as the former Bears linebacker criss-crosses the country in search of a new home. He has visited the New York Giants, Detroit Lions and Arizona Cardinals already. Rumors that he was close to a deal in Detroit appear to have been just that, as there are no indications he has had serious contract talks with anyone yet.

Chike Okeafor

Lions Cardinals Chiefs Jaguars 49ers

Mar. 7 - Okeafor, a starter last season for the first time in his four-year career, is trying to determine his market value, will wrap up his free-agent tour this week in Jacksonville. He was in Detroit on Monday, and met with Arizona and Kansas City during the week. His agent, Andrew Simms, told the Florida Times-Union, "He'll look at all four teams and make a decision." The 49ers reportedly want to see what other teams offer before making a pitch of their own. Okeafor registered six sacks and 43 tackles while starting all 16 games for San Francisco.
