The 2026 MLB season officially kicks off this Wednesday, March 25, with the Yankees-at-Giants three-game series. Playing across Wednesday, Friday and Saturday of MLB Opening Week, the long-standing rivals will make their 2026 season debut on Netflix — a first for MLB. Max Fried will start for the Yankees, Logan Webb for the Giants. Games 2 and 3 will return to slightly more traditional broadcast methods (MLB.TV and Fox).
On Thursday, a more traditional Opening Day slate is scheduled, including two matchups airing on NBC and streaming on Peacock. Friday features one game streaming on Apple TV’s Friday Night Baseball, and the Yankees vs. Giants series concludes Saturday on Fox. Every other game will air on MLB.TV. Here’s what you need to know about watching Yankees vs. Giants — and every MLB Opening Day game this week.
