WWE star Chelsea Green is on the road to recovery after undergoing a heart procedure.
The 35-year-old revealed the news on Tuesday, May 5, as she shared a snap from her hospital bed on Instagram.
“After 10 years, doctors finally caught my SVT and I was able to get a heart procedure done! 3 hours later and I’m on the mend,” Green captioned the post.
She was joined in the selfie by her husband, fellow WWE star Matt Cardona, whom she tied the knot with in December 2021.
Ahead of the procedure, Green shared her nerves as she posted another hospital bed photo on her Instagram Stories. “lollll me trying to smile for a pre-op pic but actually crying ,” she captioned it.
The photo was followed by snaps of several bouquets of flowers and well-wishes the athlete had received, including a gift basket featuring Khloe Kardashian’s Khloud popcorn.
According to the Mayo Clinic, SVT (Supraventricular tachycardia) is “a type of irregular heartbeat, also called an arrhythmia. It's a very fast or erratic heartbeat that affects the heart's upper chambers.”
“During SVT, the heart beats about 150 to 220 times a minute. Occasionally it beats faster or slower,” the medical center adds.
Some of the symptoms include palpitations, chest pain, shortness of breath and fainting.

In a post on X on Tuesday, Green revealed that her “latest episode” of SVT “during WrestleMania pushed my resting heart rate to 228 for almost 15 minutes.”
“Yesterday, Dr. Girgis spent 3 hours working on me… and I had to be awake for the last hour of the procedure!!” she added. Thankfully it was minimally invasive and I’ll be back to work very soon.”
