The Army women's lacrosse team drew an at-large berth into the NCAA Division I tournament, and will take on Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference champion Fairfield in an opening-round matchup on Friday, May 8, at 6 p.m.

With a win, Army would face the winner of Albany vs. Johns Hopkins on Sunday, May 10.

No. 2 seed Army bowed to No. 1 Navy, 17-11, in Saturday's Patriot League finals, to fall to 14-4.

The NCAA committee said the last four teams to qualify were Notre Dame, Loyola, Rutgers and Yale, and the last four teams out were Cornell, Georgetown, Richmond and South Florida.
