Fans blasted the WNBA for excluding Caitlin Clark on its 30th anniversary poster. A lot of theories emerged, with many calling out the league for mistreating her. However, the reason for her not appearing in it has been explained.

The biggest WNBA stars of past and present were featured. A’ja Wilson, Lisa Leslie, Angel Reese, Paige Bueckers, Becky Hammon and Breanna Stewart are some of the players in it. Notable “snubs” include, Clark, Cynthia Cooper, Sue Bird, Tamika Catchings and Diana Taurasi.

Cllct’s Darren Rovell posted on X that the Indiana Fever superstar guard herself was the reason for the exclusion.

Her NIL deal likely included that only her name and number can be used, preventing the WNBA from adding her image. Fans can now put the false claims and assumptions about her “snub” to rest.

Caitlin Clark dealing with back issue​


Clark left Wednesday’s game between the Fever and Phoenix Mercury in the third quarter. The team subsequently ruled her out for the remainder of the matchup due to a back issue.

Indiana head coach Stephanie White addressed reporters after the 111-109 loss but did not provide an update about Clark’s status. The team has dropped three of its last four games after previously recording back-to-back victories. The Fever will return to action on Saturday versus the Los Angeles Sparks. White and Co. will face a huge blow if the two-time All-Star’s misses the game. They will aim to improve on their 10-8 record.
