The Wisconsin Badgers wasted no time extending an offer to four-star quarterback Jack Sorgi.
Sorgi is quite familiar with the Badgers as his father, Jim, played for the program back in the day. Jim Sorgi went on to be a sixth-round draft pick in 2004, something Jack is hoping he can replicate.
Jack recently decommitted from Louisville, which opened the door for Wisconsin. The Badgers, who were once in the running, are now trying to compete to bring him in.
"After a great conversation with Kenny Guiton I am blessed to have received an offer from The University of Wisconsin," Sorgi wrote.
The 6-foot-3, 200-pound QB announced he'd be decommitting from the Cardinals on March 8. One day later, Wisconsin officially extended its offer.
Wisconsin's recent quarterback struggles have been well-documented, but they're hoping to turn things around this season with Old Dominion transfer Colton Joseph. Either way, the team will need to be looking ahead to the future and that's exactly what it's doing with Sorgi, a top class of 2027 target.
