Former Wisconsin Badgers forward Aleksas Bieliauskas announced he'd be transferring to South Carolina, according to Jonathan Givony of Draft Express.
The Gamecocks went 13-19 last season and were just 4-14 in SEC play.
Bieliauskas found his new home shortly after Jack Robison announced his new home would be with North Dakota State.
The 6-foot-10 freshman still has three years of eligibility remaining. Whether or not he spends the rest of his collegiate career at South Carolina remains to be seen.
Bieliauskas is coming off a freshman campaign where he started 28 of the 35 games he played in. He was a lock to make the Badgers' starting lineup in the 2026-27 season, but instead decided he'd be better suited on another team.
Bieliauskas started all 23 Big Ten games this year, so even with his youth, he brings a ton of experience to another stellar conference. The Gamecocks would love to help him improve on his 4.9 points per game average. In total, 81 of his 144 shots last year were from three-point range. He was 43.1% from the field and 34.6% from distance.
