Penn forward TJ Power helped the Quakers reach the 2026 men's NCAA tournament with an awe-inspiring performance against Yale earlier in the week, with 44 points and 14 boards to help clinch a spot in March Madness. It was unreal to watch.

But now, he's questionable to play against Illinois on Thursday. Will he play?

Per head coach Fran McCaffery, he's sick and didn't practice on Wednesday, and they won't know until Thursday. He thought Power could potentially play, though, which seems like a good sign, but we haven't heard an update on Thursday morning as of publishing this post.

Here's Penn head coach Fran McCaffery on the status of his top two leading scorers:

-TJ Power is sick: "We'll see... We really won't know until tomorrow."

-Ethan Roberts has a concussion: "He's not playing... His health and welfare is our priority."
