The Philadelphia Phillies are having an incredible 2026 season after their disastrous 9-19 start to the year. Don Mattingly has helped turn things around, and the season's going a lot better than many would've expected after such a horrid start.

Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, Brandon Marsh, and likely Jhoan Duran, Cristopher Sanchez, and Zack Wheeler should make the NL All-Star team this season. But, they aren't the only Phillies representatives at Citizens Bank Park this summer.

As The Reading Fightin Phils shared on Twitter/x, the Phillies will be seeing Gage Wood and Wen-Hui Pan, both top pitching prospects, at Citizens Bank Park this summer. But why? Well, they are both invited to the All-Star Futures Game.

Phillies send Gage Wood and Wen-Hui Pan to All-Star Futures Game​

"The future is headed to Citizens Bank Park," The Reading Fightin Phils shared. "Congratulations to Fightin Phils pitchers Gage Wood and Wen-Hui Pan on being selected to the 2026 All-Star Futures Game!"

So, while two top pitching prospects are coming to Philadelphia to pitch in Citizens Bank Park, neither is actually doing so as a Major Leaguer. But, this is a very cool honor for both Wood and Pan, as they will have the chance to pitch in Philadelphia before actually making the Phillies MLB roster.

The All-Star Futures Game in Philadelphia is on Sunday, July 12, at noon. Wood and Pan will join the All-Star Futures roster as the Phillies representatives, with both being some exciting prospects worth tuning in to see during this game.

Wood, the 22-year-old drafted out of Arkansas in 2025, has a 3.63 ERA this season in 52 innings pitched across 15 starts with 75 strikeouts.

Pan is another highly ranked Phillies prospect, who has a 3.18 ERA in 20 games out of the bullpen this season in 22.2 innings with 29 strikeouts.

Seeing both in action in CBP would be pretty fun for the Phillies and the fanbase, as it could be a sneak-peek at Wood and Pan pitching in the ballpark they, hopefully, will get to before too long as big-leaguers with the Phillies.
