WHOA. The Maxx Crosby trade that made headlines last week when the Baltimore Ravens shored up their pass rush that needed the help by dealing two first-rounders to the Las Vegas Raiders is... off?
That's right. Per a statement from the Raiders: "The Baltimore Ravens have backed out of our trade agreement for Maxx Crosby. We will have no further comment at this time."
What the heck would cause a team to back out of a trade agreement? Has to be health related, right?
That would be the case, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, who said it had to do with the Ravens not wanting to take on the risk of what could be a knee that hasn't fully healed from meniscus repair.
Wild. Will another team take on that risk and see the reward in getting one of the game's best pass rushers?
That was back in January.

When did Maxx Crosby undergo meniscus surgery on his knee?
