The results are in for the Montgomery Advertiser's boys and girls Soccer Players of the Year, presented by the Vance Law Firm, for performances during the 2026 season.
The poll ran from June 7-11, with readers given the option to vote once every hour.
Montgomery Academy's Grady Ming won the boys poll after playing in more than 1,000 minutes for the Eagles during the 2026 season, and recording over 190 saves and pitching more than six shutouts in 2026.
Ming won the poll with 50% of the total votes (70,541), beating out Pike Road's Patricio Hernandez who received 37% of the total votes (51,724).
Montgomery Catholic's Kyleigh Harris won the girls poll after only allowing 15 goals during the 2026 season. Harris posted eight shutouts, while recording 73 saves. For her efforts, she was named to the 4A's all-state second team.
Harris won the poll with 53% of the total votes (14,097), beating out Marbury's Amylia Rigdon, who received 40% of the total votes (10,604).
Nominees come from season's top performers the week before.
