Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks did it again, landing another big offensive lineman on the recruiting trail and shooting back up the 2027 recruiting class rankings.
Recent surges by UCLA, Florida and Kentucky have led the Ducks to drop a few spots, despite not losing anyone in their class. However, the Ducks scored a commitment from four-star offensive tackle Cameron Wagner on Monday, leading the Ducks to jump from No. 9 to No. 6 in the 2027 rankings, per 247 Sports.
The 6-foot-6 lineman from St. Joseph, Illinois, is the No. 30 offensive tackle in the 2027 class. He chose the Ducks over Notre Dame, Wisconsin and his home state team of Illinois. He played left tackle in his junior season and is a fierce run blocker.
Oregon added four-star guard Gus Corsair to their class last week, and Wagner is the second offensive tackle to join the Ducks in the 2027 cycle, alongside three-star Avery Michael. He is the 13th commitment in the Ducks' class, but there could be more soon.
A'lique Terry has been hunting on the recruiting trail, and the Ducks sit in a good position for four-star lineman Ismael Camara, who will be back on campus for his official visit next month. Terry has done an excellent job recruiting in the trenches for the Ducks, landing five-star Immanuel Iheanacho and four-star Tommy Tofi last year. If he continues to have success, the Ducks could climb even higher in the national recruiting rankings.
