LEXINGTON — Kentucky basketball's ever-upward trajectory in NCAA Tournament projections forges onward.
Prior to its second come-from-behind win over Tennessee this season, Bracket Matrix listed the Wildcats' average seed as 6.95, appearing in all 110 brackets it collected entering Feb. 6. Now, UK and coach Mark Pope's average seed is up to 6.71, as of Feb. 10.

Bracketville released its newest bracket Feb. 10 and placed UK in the South Region as the No. 5 seed; it projects the Wildcats will make the lengthy trip out west to Portland, Oregon, to square off with 12th-seeded Stephen F. Austin.
