ESPN's Jeff Borzello has released the latest update of his way-too-early Top 25 rankings for the 2026-27 college basketball season.

Alabama will have a handful of new faces up and down the roster entering the 2026-27 campaign. Star guard Labaron Philon Jr. was recently drafted by the Philadelphia 76ers, while talented big man Aiden Sherrell transferred to Indiana. True freshmen Jaxon Richardson and Qayden Samuels are expected to play significant roles during their first season in Tuscaloosa, and the Tide will begin the year as one of the top overall teams in the nation despite a plethora of key departures.

Borzello's latest way-too-early Top 25 ranks Alabama as the No. 15 team in the country entering the 2026-27 season. Richardson is listed as the Crimson Tide’s "Impact Newcomer" as well, as the freshman could quickly emerge as a star throughout his first season in Tuscaloosa this year.

Alabama has an excellent mix of young and veteran talent on the roster entering the 2026-27 campaign, and the Tide will undoubtedly begin the year as one of the top teams in the nation.
