Auburn football has caught a wave of momentum on the recruiting trail recently by adding two players to its 2027 recruiting haul over a span of four days.

Alex Golesh followed the wave of landing four-star running back Myson Johnson-Cook on April 25 by reeling in an interior offensive lineman from Fairburn, Georgia, in Jaylon Moore. Moore announced his commitment to Auburn on Wednesday, choosing the Tigers over several SEC rivals, including Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, and Missouri, after taking several visits to Auburn during the fall and during A-Day Weekend.

Auburn's recent good fortune on the recruiting trail has boosted its place within the 2027 recruiting class rankings by moving up eight spots from No. 53 to No. 45 following Moore's commitment. The Tigers are now ahead of several notable programs, including NC State, SMU, and defending national champion Indiana. Auburn has also taken a step forward in the SEC rankings by jumping Vanderbilt to take the No. 14 slot within the conference. Auburn, with four commitments, is now six points away from overtaking LSU for the No. 13 spot and is nearly 20 points away from reaching archrival Alabama.
