The Minnesota Vikings' offense struggled to get anything going all year long last season, finishing 28th in total offense, averaging just 275.0 yards per game. Minnesota would make some major improvements this offseason to help correct this issue, most notably in the form of signing both Kyler Murray and Jauan Jennings in free agency. After it is all said and done, where does this offense's skill positions rank among the NFL?

Bill Barnwell of ESPN ranked all 32 skill positions as a whole, and the Vikings would finish 8th, just ahead of the Eagles at nine, and behind the Cowboys at seven. This is the second year in a row their ranking has dropped, as last season they were sixth, and in 2024 they placed fifth.

There have been some huge strides on this offense, but it all will start with Murray. The assumption is that Murray will beat out former first-round pick J.J. McCarthy for the starting job, but he still needs to earn the nod. While we likely won't hear of a starter until training camp, fans are already envisioning Murray leading this offense. If Murray can find his former self, this offense could easily become a top ten unit in 2026.
