This past Sunday afternoon, the Alabama Crimson Tide had one of their more disappointing results of the season so far, blowing a late lead to the Vanderbilt Commodores in Game 3.

Not only did Alabama drop the series to Vanderbilt as a result of this loss, but the Crimson Tide have also now fallen in the weekly USA TODAY Sports College Baseball Coaches Poll as well, which was released Monday afternoon.

Coming out of the weekend, Alabama is now ranked as the nation's No. 20 overall team, falling four spots this week. As a result of their series win, Vanderbilt jumped five spots up to No. 10 nationally.

Now sitting at 36-12 overall, as well as 13-11 in SEC play, Alabama now faces a challenging week ahead that features two ranked opponents, starting Tuesday night on the road at No. 18 Troy. Alabama will then host No. 6 Georgia this upcoming weekend in Tuscaloosa.
