Enzo Amore was undoubtedly one of the most entertaining WWE characters during his time on the roster.

Alongside Big Cass, Amore was an utter gem on the microphone and was quickly over with the WWE Universe after his spell in NXT.

Of course, we know things went south for both Amore and Big Cass with the company and after being in trouble outside the company, Amore departed in 2017.

Now though, nearly a decade later, we could be about to see a return for at least one of the popular duo.

And according to reports, it might be sooner rather than later.

WWE already has plans for Enzo Amore amid rumours of a return​


With any misdemeanours outside the ring now firmly behind him, Amore – real name Eric Arndt – is set to be offered a lifeline by TKO and WWE.

There have been suggestions for weeks that Amore could be about to return and those rumours only increased this past week when he was seen at WWE’s performance centre.

Now, according to Dave Meltzer, Amore could be on our screens quicker than people think.

Meltzer has reported that WWE already plans to bring Amore back to WWE NXT and with a host of talent leaving that roster in recent months, his charisma would be a welcome addition.

Now 39, Amore would offer that experience that many down at PC and NXT are missing.

Recent departures such as Jevon Evans, Trick Williams, Ricky Starks and Oba Femi have left a big hole to fill down in Florida.

Amore’s return, then, seems timely.
