The NASCAR Cup Series gets one race closer to the Chase with the Brickyard 400 on July 26 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

This year is the third since the Cup Series' return to the 2.5-mile track.

Carson Hocevar is on the pole, with teammate Daniel Suarez also on the front row. All three Spire Motorsports drivers start inside the front three rows.

Austin Cindric starts 35th in a critical race for the Penske driver as he sits ahead of the Chase cutline.
