Based on my fantasy league its looking like Benson is done for the year. 5 straight DNP's and 6 days left in his window . No practice today so no way he plays sunday.

at best he'd have 4 games to play if he came back. The last time he practiced they said he was "shaking" his leg after drills like the knee didn't feel right which leads me to believe he's not going to play again this year.

REally disappointing, no idea what happened, did he reinjure it or was the original injury worse than they told us but if he's out for the year it's really bad for his future with the franchise. Two years in a row missing this much time would be very bad

Oh I think so too but I think the plan was for him to play last week and he couldn't. now he's not going to play this week either.

So from a health standpoint you start to wonder what would be the point of playing him this year? If he's healthy yeah, but if he's not why risk making it worse. But the problem is he REALLY needed to prove to the team he could be counted on this year and unfortunately he hasn't been able to be counted on.

I was all for drafting him and I think he can be a very good NFL RB, but he has to be able to play.

It's a weird situation remember he played for more than a full quarter after he hurt the knee before he told them it was hurt. So it's not that he has no tolerance for pain he clearly does but it has to be the knee was worse than they thought, or he did something else because meniscus isn't supposed to take this long. He got hurt Sep 25, he had surgery I think 2 days later. So he's on 9-10 weeks now.

Nobody wants to see him play more than I do but at this point my guess is he won't play this year. I hope to be wrong

I had meiscus surgery and it never felt right afterwards. A few months later, I was back on the surgery table. It was discovered thre was another part of the meniscus folded over. Either the surgeon didn't see the folded section originally or it occurred during post surgery excercises.

After looking at the injury report for both teams, the Rams will destroy us.
They are relatively healthy and the Cardinals can hardly field a starting quality team.

can't count on him as any kind of solution next year.
