On Friday, the Los Angeles Rams welcomed tight end Max Klare to the franchise, using their second-round selection to add the two-time All-Big Ten pick to their offense. Klare helped the Ohio State Buckeyes reach the 2025 College Football Playoffs after having a breakout season with the Purdue Boilermakers in 2024.

That skill set was highlighted during the team's call to Klare, informing him of their intentions to select him. General manager Les Snead gave his opening remarks before head coach Sean McVay took over. McVay highlighted their expansive tight end room and their 13 personnel offense as reasons why Klare fits the vision of what the team is putting together for 2026.

Here's how the call went.
