The Warriors didn't put up much of a fight on Wednesday as they suffered a brutal 131-116 loss to the Houston Rockets in Game 5 of their opening-round NBA playoffs series.
So much so that head coach Steve Kerr pulled out his starters at the midway point of the third quarter with his team down 29 points. The message was clear from the four-time NBA champion coach, and that was that the Warriors have already set their sights on Game 6 amid their embarrassing defeat on Wednesday.
This was the same message the Warriors posted on social media on Thursday as the team expressed its mindset heading into their pivotal Game 6 showdown at Chase Center.
"One mission. One team. Game 6 ready," the Warriors posted on X.
The Warriors also shared a video of Jimmy Butler speaking during the post-game press conference, as the six-time All-Star revealed why he believes Golden State will be "fine."
According to Butler, they know full well what they're capable of, and they remain confident that they will be able to move past the Rockets to book their spot in the next round. He added: "Our confidence isn't going to waver any."
