Thirty-two teams, including six from northeastern and north-central South Dakota, are set to open play in the 94th South Dakota State Class B Amateur Baseball Tournament on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026.
The single-elimination tourney runs Aug. 5-16 at Cadwell Park in Mitchell.
That's why it's a good time for this week's Watertown Public Opinion-Aberdeen News poll question to ask our readers which team, area or not, is going to win the state B championship. The complete bracket is posted below.
Voting in the poll will remain open until midnight on Sunday, Aug. 9, 2026.
Last week's poll question asked our readers to decide which returning all-state football player will have the best season in 2026. Lincoln Schutt of Watertown topped teammate Hunter Peterson in the poll.
